This course will build upon existing knowledge on wound assessment and management.
Service Description
Learning Objectives: 1. To describe the wound healing process and discuss factors that may influence this process 2. To be able to carry out an assessment using a recognise tool 3. To understand signs and symptoms of wound infection 4. To discuss wound cleansing and their issues 5. To discuss characteristics of ideal dressings and demonstrate an awareness of the variety of wound dressing products and their usage. Target audiences: This course is suitable for registered nurses, nursing associates, podiatry, physiotherapy, dieticians, doctors, medical students, healthcare assistants and other allied healthcare professionals, student nurses Location: Online Anticipated learning duration: 6 Hours Level of audience knowledge: Intermediate
Cancellation Policy
Training Booking Cancellation Policy Cancellations made within 24 hours of the time of booking will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total training fee. This policy applies to all training sessions booked through our platform, whether online or in-person. The remaining 50% of the fee will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please Note: Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or through our booking system. The 24-hour period is calculated from the exact time the booking was confirmed. After the 24-hour window, our standard cancellation policy applies.
